A Stone Age site dating to the second millennium BC . It is on a small hillock near Meetei Village, Wangoo / Wangu, in the southern part of the Imphal Valley, on the right bank of the Manipur River which flows into the Chindwin River in Burma. The edge-ground tools and corded wares of Napachik are similar to those found in the Spirit Cave in Thailand, the Padubtin Cave in Burma, the Lapita sites in Tonga along with Haobihian sites in Vietnam although tripod wares were also found at one the Haobihian sites. Possible dates for the Neolithic age in northeast India are between 500 BC 2000 BC. It is probable that, while Napachik culture has an affinity with that of Haobihian, handmade corded tripod wares from Chinese Neolithic culture arrived in the area around the second millennium BC showing that the Manipur valley was already inhabited by Neolithic men in or around 2000 BC.

QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT
Where the distance does not matter.
Have You Ever Met your Entangled Life Partner?
Brief background:
Entanglement is a strange and weird phenomenon in quantum mechanics. Literally entanglement means non-separability. Mathematically, it's origin is rooted to superposition principle. The concept of entanglement stemmed from the historically famous thought experiment of Einstein, Podolsky and Rosen called EPR paradox, who/which tried to disprove the completeness of wave function without introducing the concept of Hidden variables. Ultimately, work of another mind John S Bell disproved the existence of hidden variables and proved the existence of quantum entanglement by virtue of Bell's theorem and inequality. Subsequently, experimental verification of the the quantum entanglement emerged.
What is this Quantum Entanglement?
It is a phenomenon in quantum physics where the quantum states of the entangled particles remain always connected so that actions performed on one affect the other, irrespective of their distance of separation. Albert Einstein called it "spooky action at a distance." The physically different entities behave as a single as if they are non-separable always irrespective of their separation distance. You disturb one, other one will be disturbed almost instantaneously no matter where they are.
This is demonstrated experimentally using properties of particles like spins, position, momentum, and polarisation states. The rules of quantum physics state that an unobserved photon exists in all possible states simultaneously but, when observed or measured, exhibits only one state.
The photons can be separated by a large distance, hundreds of miles or even more.
What does it mean?
Quantum entanglement property of particles are finding innovative applications for quantum communication at terrestrial level, satellite level and interstellar level beyond light years separation. Healing technique like Reiki is made use of this entanglement.
Also, we can think of a entanglement within family members. We heard about sometimes our mothers telling us about what happened to my children instantly is felt to me by way of hair rising (tu chungba), incidental thumb hitting an obstacle (khudi thiba), reflex pulses of eyes and beats (mit chongba, mihun chongba). All these are subtle forms of quantum entanglement at sub-consciousness mind.
Similarly, is there an entangled soulmate in someone's life! So called Made for each other! Where the distance doesn't matter to you!
All these are emerging areas of research using the concept of quantum entanglement. One day, science will crack and contribute to the human understanding!!!

Researchers discover which brain region motivates behavior change.
Researchers discover which brain region motivates behavior change.
Have you ever been stuck in a rut, going through the same motions day in and day out? How do you motivate to change your behavior?
Researchers from the University of Pennsylvania, Yale University, Columbia University and Duke University now better understand how this happens, and it has to do with a region in the brain called the posterior cingulate cortex. They learned that neurons in this central location ramp up firing rates, peaking just before a divergent behavior occurs. They published their findings in the journal Neuron.
“The circuits in our brain that allow us to focus on a particular task, especially a task that leads to reward, are well known,” said Michael Platt, the James S. Riepe University Professor in Penn’s psychology, neuroscience and marketing departments. “These evolved very early in the history of life on this planet.”
What’s less established is which trigger in the brain causes people to break from a routine, especially when doing so poses potential risks.
Two experiments the research team conducted — one called the patch-leaving task, the other dubbed the traveling salesman — provided some important insights.
https://static1.freebitco.in/banners/728x90-3.png
In the first, Platt and colleagues looked at the foraging behaviors of rhesus macaques, a non-human primate species the researchers have studied both in the lab and in the wild. The animals had the choice between harvesting a juice reward that depleted over time but was guaranteed and immediate or moving to a new “patch,” which would require more time and energy but offered a potentially larger reward.
“Imagine you’re picking berries in a tree,” he said. “At first it’s easy, but after a while you have to climb farther and farther out on weaker branches to get the berries, most of which probably aren’t ripe. At some point it makes sense to take the time and energy to go to the next tree.”
To understand the second experiment, think about an effective traveling salesman. The merchant moves from door to door, interacting with people in the hopes of making a deal. Not everyone purchases a product, though there is an ideal pattern for success. Once the salesman understands this, he follows that pattern until it stops working and a behavior change is necessary for continued prosperity.
Monkeys in the traveling-salesman experiment had the option to visit six different locations, two of which contained rewards, one large and one small. The reward spots were randomized, and they changed each time the experiment ran.
“The optimal solution is to develop a routine where you visit all of them in a circle. That’s the best you can do; you go from nearest neighbor to next neighbor. That’s what monkeys do in the wild. That’s what bumblebees do in the wild,” Platt said. “Occasionally, these animals break off to explore for something that might be better, kind of like what people do in a grocery store. Suddenly monkeys here would break off and go out of order. We didn’t know why.”
Simultaneous to watching the macaques’ behavior in both experiments, Platt and his colleagues recorded neuron behavior in the posterior cingulate cortex. Neural activity there built up until it peaked, at which point the animals changed course, revealing correlational evidence that this spike in brain function leads to the divergent thinking and action rather than happens because of it.
“If you increased activity in the area exogenously, if I put an electrode in there and stimulated, then you would break off from the routine, you would become more exploratory,” Platt said. “Similarly, if you could suppress activity, you’d see the opposite. You’d become hyper-focused on one option, and you may never make a change.”
These findings have potential business applications in terms of innovation and exploration. Techniques that directly activate the posterior cingulate cortex like brain stimulation or game play that promotes distraction, particularly within situations that don’t allow a routine to form, can lead to more creativity.
“People who have more activity there have more mind-wandering, and they tend to be more creative,” according to Platt. “It suggests that capacity to be more creative evolved for a very specific purpose, which is to allow you to forage efficiently in a landscape that’s always changing.”

A scientific Perspective On The Most Cntroversial Speech of the Honorable CM of Manipur
Manipur CM, Honorable Sri.N Biren Singh said that by “marrying Rukmini, Krishna had bound the Northeast with India”. “In the time of Lord Krishna, there was no separate Arunachal Pradesh or Assam or Manipur. The entire Northeast was one entity. Now, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland are on the border of China. But Lord Krishna made them part of India during his time,” said Biren Singh. - Madhavpur Fair, Gujarat, March 28, 2018
Let’s #analyze the contents of the above excerpt in details in the context of science:
Who is (was) Lord Krishna? – Sri (lord) Krishna is a major deity in Hinduism. He is worshipped as the avatar of god Vishnu and also the supreme God in its own right. He is a special character during Mahabharat war and known for his gift of Bhagavat Gita. He was born in Mathura (in Uttar Pradesh) during in Dwapar Yug. His date of birth is given in various dates as: July 21, 3227 BCE (before Christian era), July 18, 3228 BCE, June 18, 3229 BCE. He lived around 125 or 126 years and died on the banks of Hiran river (in Gujarat). His date of death is given as February 18, 3102 BC, marking the start of the Kali Yug. Lord Krishna was 89 years old on the 1st day of Mahabharat War. This means that Lord Krishna was on this planet earth at around 5245 years BP (before present). He had 16,108 wives in his lifetime! But, Radha was not His wife!
#When did Mahabharat happen? It is believed that Mahabharat war commenced in November 3139 BCE at Kurukshetra (Haryana) and ended in 18 days with death of Duryodhana. On February 05, 3140 BCE, Aswamedha Yagna was started by Yudhishtir. That means that Mahabharat war is believed to happen at around 5156 years ago from now.
#Who was #Rukmini (Rukmani)? She was the principal wife and queen of the lord Krishna. Rukmini is the first and most prominent queen of Krishna. Rukmini is also considered an avatar of Lakshmi, the Goddess of fortune. She was born as a royal princess from Vedic #Aryan tribe. Rukmini was the daughter of Bhishmaka, the king of Vidarbha. Vidarbha is the eastern region of the Indian state of Maharashtra, comprising Nagpur Division and Amravati Division. Its former name is Berar (Varhad in Marathi). It borders the state of Madhya Pradesh to the north, Chhattisgarh to the east, Telangana to the south and Marathwada and Khandesh regions of Maharashtra to the west. Birthplace of Rukmini has nothing to do with Northeast states.
#How is #Madhavpur (in Gujarat) #coming into picture? Rukmini's parents wanted to marry Rukmini to Krishna but Rukmi, her brother strongly opposed it. According to folklore, Krishna came to the village of Madhavpur Ghed after eloping Rukmini and got married to her at this very place. A celebration of this event is held at Madhavpur in memory of this marriage every year in a cultural fair. At Dwaraka (in Gujarat), Krishna was married to Rukmini with great pomp and ceremony. Therefore, Madhavpur fair (mela) is arranged this time at national level and the above speech was delivered during the fair.
#What_Science_Says? If we see the history of the earth in the geological timeline, earth was formed around 4.5 billion years ago (1 billion = 1,000,000,000). The entire geological time scale is divided into Eon, Eons to Era, Eras to Period, Periods to Epoch. We are at present in #Holocene epoch of Quaternary period of Cenezoic era of Phanerozoic eon. Modern human beings have just evolved/appeared on the earth in the pleistocene epoch in around 2,000,00 years ago only according to “out of Africa” theory. Our presence on earth is 0.004 % of the total timeline of the earth. Human beings are just born Babies according to the geological timescale of earth. According to #Continental_drift theory (Wegener theory), the entire earth was having only one supercontinent called “#Pangaea” around 335 million years ago (1 million = 10,000,00). Around 200 million years ago, the supercontinent Pangaea began to split into two continents called – Laurasia and Gondwana. Specific to the context of Indian subcontinent, what is now India's southwest coast was attached to #Madagascar and southern #Africa, and what is now its east coast was attached to Australia, before the continental drift. Due to continental drift, the India Plate split from Madagascar & Africa around 90 million years ago, continued moving northward and finally collided with the Eurasian Plate resulting in the formation of the Himalayas in around 50-55 million years ago. Kangleipak (present northeastern-India Manipur) is part of India Plate geologically and initially it was submerged inside ocean till #Paleocene epoch (66-56 million years). As the India plate continued to move towards the north, Kangleipak emerged out of the oceanic water during the #Eocene_epoch (65-34 million years ago) with the mountain “#Koubru” firstly emerged along with its ranges surrounding the present Imphal valley. Therefore, Kangleipak is sometimes described as “#Eeronnungi_Mani (yai)” and "Awang Koubru Asuppa, #Yoimayai_Khunda_Ahanba" . Thus, Kangleipak become into existence around 50 million years ago during the Eocene epoch. The #Lai_people or the Leima-Lai people were the human beings who were inhabiting on the tops of the present Koubru Mountain and its ranges surrounding the present Imphal valley, once full of fresh water as an inland sea. When the imphal valley become dry because of natural causes, when rivers and rivulets got drained the water towards the south of the Imphal valley, the Lai people came down to the Imphal valley, first occupied the present Imphal Kangla and its surroundings, as the areas were first got dried, and became the present Meetei people. The #time of the coming down of the Lai people from Koubru to Kangla was around 17,291 years BCE or 19,308 years ago (BP), according to the findings of #Potshard (chafu cheigai) at Kangla as per Kangla Excavation report of 2009. It may be mentioned that the #oldest_pottery found in China (at a cave in Yuchanyan) is dated to be 17,500 to 18,300 years old. Also, the Indus valley/Harappan civilization is dated to be around 2000 years BCE. This shows that human settlement in Kangleipak was one of the oldest in the history of human evolution/appearance/civilization. It may also be mentioned according to Meetei calendar, present year 2018 (21st century) corresponds to Maliya Kumsing 3415 (36th century). Also, it is a well known fact that Hinduism entered Kangleipak in 1709-1719 (early 18th century) during the reign of king Pamheiba. And subsequently the name Manipur is given to the land instead of the name Kangleipak in 18th century.
Thus, the following points can be #concluded from the above facts regarding the statement made by honorable CM:
1. #Rukmini_was princess of Vidharba kingdom in present #Maharashtra, but not from/in northeast.
2. #LordKrishna, born in Mathura (UP), had lived around 5245 years ago and no records found of His visit to Kangleipak. Meeteis lived in Imphal Kangla 19,308 years ago.
3. #Mahabharat_epic had happened 5156 years ago at Kurukshetra (Haryana) and Kangleipak was not having any role in Mahabharat epic as per India map during Mahabharat.
4. Manipur or #Manipura in Mahabharat epic was not Present north-east India Manipur as Kangleipak was the name of the land. There are no findings of name Kangleipak in Mahabharat epic.
5. #Geologically, Kangleipak (present north-east India Manipur) was a part of India Plate since 335 million years ago, before the birth of Lord Krishna who was living in 5245 years ago.
6. #Politically, Kangleipak (present north-east India Manipur) merged into India in October 15, 1949 while forming the country India. Lord Krishna has no role in the unification.
7. #Geologically_Kangleipak (present north-east India Manipur) is at least 50 million years old (500 lakh years) and is sufficiently old to support Modern Humans who were just appeared/evolved on Earth in 2,000,00 years ago (2 lakh years).

Passion Fruit
Common Name = Passion Fruit
Botanical Name = Passifloraedulis
Family Name = Passifloraceae
Parts Used = Fruit and Leaf
Passion fruit is due to the nutrient, mineral, and vitamin content of the fruit, which includes antioxidants, flavonoids, vitamin A, vitamin C, riboflavin, niacin, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, fiber, and protein.
Health Benefits of Passion Fruit :
1. Immune System
All of these vitamins act as antioxidants, which scavenge free radicals from the body and neutralize them before they can harm the organ systems and result in conditions like cancer, heart disease, or premature aging.Vitamin C stimulates the activity of white blood cells and the rest of the immune defense system, thereby protecting you from common illnesses and serious diseases at the same time.
2. Cancer Prevention
Antioxidants in passion fruit primarily eliminate free radicals, which are known for mutating the DNA of healthy cells into cancerous ones.Passion fruit also contains vitamin A, various flavonoids, and phenolic compounds, all of which have been linked to anti-cancer properties, particularly in terms of oral and lung cancers.
3. Vitamin-A Content
Vitamin A is also linked to improvements ineye health, including the prevention of macular degeneration, cataracts, and night blindness.
4. Digestive Health
Fiber is an essential component of a health diet, since it is the substance that facilitates healthy digestion of food and the regulation of bowel movements. It can reduce signs of constipation by regulating bowel movements, scrubs the blood vessels clean of excess cholesterol, and even prevent gastrointestinal conditions like colorectal cancer.
5. Blood Pressure
It relaxes the tension of blood vessels and promotes increased blood flow. This reduces the strain on the heart and increases overall cardiovascular health.
6. Cardiovascular Health
Cholesterol is probably the number one enemy of heart. It blocks arteries and create fluctuation in the blood pressure resulting in increased stress on your heart.
Passion fruit has almost no cholesterol and minimum fats. It contains a high amount of fiber which reduces cholesterol level in blood. It increases HDL (good cholesterol) and reduces LDL ( bad cholesterol).
Apart from these, it has potassium that protects from an irregular heartbeat and regulates the contraction and expansion of heart muscles.
7. Improves digestion
Passion fruit is not only rich in fiber but also has a high water content that is a must with fiber for improving digestion. It stimulates digestion with the help of its enzymes that increase the amount of digestive juices produced in the stomach. It is also known to relieve the body from many other gastric ailments as a result.
