Botanical name: Calotropis gigantea.
Place: found mostly in the valley of Manipur.
Parts Use: Whole plant.

* Disease name: Dysentery(eeton faiba); Ringworm; Leprosy; Leucoderm(angouba pakpa).
* Uses: the fresh leaves are applied as dry fomentation on swellings(apomba mafamda kangna ommaduna thamba).
The dried bark of the roots is an excellent substitute for Ipecacuanha(jholap oina sijinaba pambi makhal ama) in the treatment of Dysentery.
It is used in tootache; fractures and mad dog bite.
